THURSDAY - Winnipeg's soul-tinged rockers landed one of the better spots on Thursday night, between Miracle Fortress and Young Galaxy at Lee's Palace. And they made the most of it, winning the crowd over with their retroish sound and lead singer Marti Sarbit's endearing persona and impressive pipes. Next month, you can catch at Massey Hall as they open for the freaking Pixies on the Canadian leg of the band's North American tour.
