SATURDAY - Beer wasn't free but we showed up anyway to see who was hanging out at The Indie Awards. It was worth dealing with the dirty looks from the snooty upscale hotel staff because we still got some pretty cool pics from Desperate Union, Hannah Georgas, Bombay Bicycle Club, Hollerado and Shad before Janelle Monae kicked our asses.
