NXNE 2011 Photos: Most Serene Republic @ Mod Club by Adam Bunch

FRIDAY - We're still all exhausted and sore and hungover and trying to piece together our memories from the last few days, but from what we do remember, our Friday night at North By Northeast was one of the greatest night of music we've ever seen. For an awe-inspiring eight hour stretch, a long list of our favourite live bands played one after the other after the other. It ended with a drunken 4am dance party on stage with Rouge at Sneaky Dee's, but it kicked off down the street at the Mod Club, when Milton's finest indie rockers, The Most Serene Republic, delivered a much more subdued, but still upbeat, fun and catchy set.
