Artists To Watch: Ben Stansfield

"Born in Bermuda, I spent most of my childhood moving between Armed Forces bases after my family moved back to Canada. I was heavily influenced by comic books, early 20th-century commercial illustration, sugary breakfast cereals and 1970’s Saturday morning cartoons. I’ve been drawing for thirty eight years, painting for twelve, and have taught cartooning, colour mixing and art materials and supplies. I live and paint full time in my studio in Toronto."
