Last week at The Ossington, we held our third Little Red Umbrella Variety Spectacular. It was a drunken cornucopia of readings and performances, including baseball talk from the Drunk Jays Fans, the bizarre poetry of Paul Dutton, Christien Summers' disco rock, Deborah Etta Robinson's stand-up comedy, and Amy Lavender Harris reading from her upcoming mummified-baby-filled novel Acts Of Salvage. Plus DJ Flex Rock spun tunes from our Songs You Can Dance Around Your Apartment To podcasts. And 10% of the bar sales from the night went to the AIDS Committee of Toronto. We've posted all our photos to Facebook, taken by the awesome Lisa Daly, which you can check out here (even if you don't have a Facebook account).
Thanks so much to all the performers and to everyone who came out. We'll be back this summer with Spectacular #4.
