Ohhhhhhh we were pretty hungover on November 3. But it was worth it. The night before, Sheezer took over Lee's Palace for their Halloween show. Things kicked off earlier in the evening with Pins & Needles — an awesome new band of youngsters who got their start at Girls Rock Camp this year. And then it was the kickass punky shoegazey retro rock of Planet Creature. So by the time Sheezer took the stage, we'd already been having fun for a while. Which meant having a few drinks. But that's kind of perfect when you're about to sing along to covers of Weezer songs at the top of your lungs with a room full of people.
The songs weren't the only thing being awesome. Sheezer's costumes this year were maybe our favourite Sheezer costumes ever: Kiss. The band asked photographer Connie Tsang to take photos of the event... and those photos rule, so we asked her if we could share them with you. She said yes:
